On Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, Women’s Philanthropy Virtual Coffee Hour featured Hillary Regelman from JScreen. From BRCA to Tay-Sachs, we learned about the history behind Jewish genetic screening and the innovations of the present. JScreen is debunking the many misconceptions around genetic testing for diseases affecting the Jewish community.
Hillary Regelman is the Director of National Outreach for JScreen. She has been with the program since its inception in 2013 and working hard on creating awareness about the importance of Jewish genetic testing around the country. Hillary has been featured in newspapers, magazines, and television for her work with JScreen. JScreen is a national non-profit dedicated to preventing genetic diseases by improving access to education through at-home testing and making screening simple, accessible, and affordable.
