Healthy Community Emergency Fund

The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts and the Jewish Endowment Foundation has created this fund to ensure the continuation of our community agencies, and to provide needed assistance to individuals and families in our community. We are off to a good start towards meeting our goal of raising $150,000 for this fund.

We will be partnering with other community agencies that can help evaluate individual and family needs, and provide some of the services that are necessary.

We are asking for your support to help our community organizations and your neighbors.

The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts has been working to help our institutions, individuals, and families to weather this pandemic.  One part of this effort was to establish the Healthy Community Emergency Fund several weeks ago.

Part of these funds will be used to safeguard our community institutions, and ensure that even during a crisis, Western Massachusetts is home to vibrant Jewish life.

We are also making funds available to individuals and families who require assistance. We are partnering with Jewish Family Services of Western Massachusetts, an independent third-party, who will be reviewing and evaluating the applications so that we can distribute the aid appropriately.  We are in the process of setting up guidelines about what funds we will be able to provide.
