Area briefs: Clean energy incentives program; ‘Be Active’ in S. Hadley; Ride to Provide; and Goshen Cultural Council seeks grant applicants
AMHERST — More than 25 bike teams are set to participate in Ride to Provide 2023, organized by the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, on Sunday, Oct. 15. This family-friendly celebration of Jewish culture and interfaith partnership combined with a bike ride/5K fundraiser will begin and end at UMass Hillel in Amherst.
Funds raised by Ride to Provide 2023 will help meet the needs of the federation’s constituent agencies and its network of nonprofit partners in support of western Massachusetts’ most vulnerable, regardless of faith or origin, and people in need around the world.
