Gaza ceasefire resolutions fuel hate against Jews (Viewpoint)
Since the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, our Jewish community has been feeling deeply isolated in our profound grief. In our towns we have seen hostage signs defaced and destroyed, aggressive and antisemitic chants in public demonstrations, and rampant misinformation about Jews and Israel that has caused unprecedented levels of antisemitism in our community.
Multiple towns in Western Massachusetts have either voted for a ceasefire resolution in Gaza or are in various stages of putting such resolutions up to a vote.
