Sonia Wilk

Sonia Wilk presented the Women’s Philanthropy and NextGen Photo Book Virtual Workshop on Monday, May 4, 2020.

In a digital world where we take photos constantly, physical (printed) photo albums have fallen by the wayside. As we are all physically isolated, looking back on our memories can be therapeutic, and photo books can be a way to revisit those memories. This workshop on making printed photography books for any occasion highlighted resources that are free to anyone with internet access and a computer.

Sonia Wilk, former director of youth and family programs at the Springfield Jewish Community Center, has loved photography since a young age. Sonia has enjoyed documenting her international travels through photo books, and lives in Easthampton with her dog Gomie.
