Melanie Gorelick was featured on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at Women’s Philanthropy Virtual Coffee Hour, speaking about the important work of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, and how we can each be a voice for change in our community and across the country. The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), the network hub of the Jewish community relations field, advocates for a just and pluralistic America, global human rights, and peace in Israel.

Melanie Roth Gorelick, Senior Vice President of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), is a civil rights and women’s right thought leader in the United States. In 2016, She joined JCPA, the national hub of the community relations field made up of 125 community relations councils around the country and 16 national Jewish agencies to grapple with pressing issues of the day. JCPA’s works to build a just and pluralistic America, advocate for Israel’s peace and security, and human rights around the world. Melanie oversees the JCPA programming and policy work on both domestic and international affairs and the communications team. This includes but not limited to organizing the national conference, leadership activities including the Israel Mission, and convenes JCRCs and national agencies on policy matters.
