Donna Feldman

Donna Feldman was featured on Sunday, Nov. 1 as part of the Past Women Presidents of the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts (JFWM) virtual program and luncheon.

Donna, who served as president of the JFWM from 2001-2003, was inspired by the 1967 war, which took place when she was 16 years old. Her 1986 trip to Israel was motivation that “it’s our turn” to step up and become active and do our part, because being Jewish added to the feeling of so much at stake. These pivotal moments led to her commitment to being responsible for the Jewish people and for Israel as the Jewish homeland. Memorably, Harold Rosen told Donna that he gave one third of his salary to Federation and other Jewish charities, modeling the dedication and commitment of the Jewish Western Massachusetts community.
