Dear Friend,
As snow covers the ground and time continues to pass, we continue to dwell on the events of Oct. 7 and beyond as violence and hatred, antisemitism and media bias continue to grow.
Right now, each of us can make a difference not only in our own families and circles of friends, but in our local towns, our region, and throughout the world. We must continue to speak up against hatred and bigotry wherever we see and hear it, and there is something that each of us can do to be involved in these efforts.
Whether you are inclined to take part in advocacy and education, to become involved in a local committee, to send letters to government officials, or just show up to our local events, we need your help and your support. Please join us in supporting Israel with your time and your resources, becoming involved as a volunteer, or joining us at other local events to demonstrate your pride in Jewish community.
Shabbat shalom,
Nora Gorenstein
Chief Executive Officer

- Jewish Federations joined other major Jewish organizations in speaking out forcefully against the reckless, groundless charges of genocide leveled against Israel by South Africa at the International Court of Justice in the Hague. See our blog post for details, including the letter that we sent to Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
- Don’t forget to register for our upcoming webinar on the legality of Israel’s operations in Gaza, sponsored in conjunction with other major Jewish organizations, on Wednesday, January 24 at 1 pm ET. Major John Spencer and Lieutenant Colonel Geoffrey S. Corn, who have nearly five decades of combined military experience, will speak on how Israel is complying with humanitarian law while fighting an urban-based war.
