Statement on Rocket Attacks on Israel

SPRINGFIELD, MA. (May 12, 2021) – The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts stands in solidarity with the State of Israel. As of this date more than 700 rockets have been launched from the Gaza Strip towards civilian areas in Israel causing death and injuries. Our Federation calls upon Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to end the latest cycle of violence and we recognize and support Israel’s right and duty to protect its population from these attacks.
