The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts and the Jewish Endowment Foundation established the Healthy Community Emergency Fund soon after the pandemic began in 2020. Part of these funds will be used to safeguard our community institutions and ensure that even during a crisis, Western Massachusetts is home to vibrant Jewish life. We are also making funds available to individuals and families who require assistance. We are partnering with Jewish Family Service of Western Massachusetts, an independent third party, who is reviewing and evaluating the applications so that we can distribute the aid appropriately.
