The Momentum Journey of Growth transforms Jewish mothers worldwide with a life-changing Israel experience, continuing at home through meaningful engagement with our Jewish Federation. Women gain renewed purpose, strengthened Jewish identity, and the ability to inspire resilience in their families and communities.

How it works
The journey begins with a curated cohort!
- Jewish mothers with children 18 and under may apply
- Applicants undergo an interview
- Participants attend 3-4 pre-trip meetings for relationship-building and Jewish learning
- Use of Momentum online resources to prepare for the Israel trip
Participants travel to Israel
- Participants experience a 7-day journey through Israel with a global group of women, exploring Israel’s land, history, and Jewish heritage
- Each day trip is connected to core Jewish values for a deeper meaningful experience
- Daily sessions led by world-class educators to strengthen Jewish identity and build confidence
- Israelis are embedded in the trip, sharing their unique perspectives and fostering meaningful connections
The journey continues at home
- Participants bring home new insights to share with their family and community
- Participants continue to meet and are encouraged and empowered to become involved in committees, boards, and volunteer opportunities
Cost
A $500 refundable deposit is required to secure your spot, which will be fully refunded upon program completion.
Participants are responsible for airfare and a $360 non-refundable acceptance fee, though much of the cost may be covered by a generous Harold Grinspoon Foundation grant.
Many meals are included during group events; personal expenses for some meals and souvenirs are not.
